7:00 P.M. – BUSINESS MEETING (Room 112)


7:30 P.M. – CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING for Edward & Allison Weathersbee for a Special Permit (Sections 1400, 1420) and a Section 6 finding (1640, 1642) of the Norwell Zoning Bylaws because lot is non-conforming, Section 2421 (Lot Size) with 26,912 sq. ft. where 43,560 sq. ft. of land is required.  Applicant wishes to add family room, kitchen, entry way and mudroom to 1st floor and master bedroom and bath to 2nd floor and a 2-car garage that meets all zoning setbacks.  Property is located at 2 Lantern Lane and shown on Assessor’s Map 7A, Block 15, Lot 9, Registry of Deeds Book 19739 Pg 40 in Residential District A.  House built in 1950.

7:35 P.M. – CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING for Diamond Development Realty Trust for a Special Permit (Sections 1400, 1420), Section 6 finding (1640, 1642) required because lot does not meet minimum lot size requirement of one acre (Section 2421) with 34,500 sq. ft. and also does not meet the front yard setback (Section 2441) of 50 ft. with 39.1 feet in Residential District A.  Applicant is proposing to raze and reconstruct a single-family dwelling with 2,132 sq. ft. of living area and an attached 2-car garage/master bedroom above.  House originally built in 1948.  The property address is 150 Prospect Street and shown on Assessor’s Map 13A as Block 35 Lot 36 Registry of Deeds Book 18118 Page 145.

7:40 P.M. - CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING for Nicholas V. Trifone, Manager of Damon Farm, LLC. for a Comprehensive Permit to construct a thirty-two (32) unit residential condominium development with a total of fifteen (15) structures proposed on the Norwell/Hingham line.  Eleven (11) buildings, containing twenty-four (24) residences with (6) affordable are planned in the Town of Norwell.  The land in Norwell consists of approximately 8.5 acres at the intersection of Routes 228 and 53 (known as Queen Anne s’ Corner) with frontage on Washington Street and shown on Assessor’s Map 5D, Block 12, Lots 1 and 2 in Business District B Registry of Deeds Book 19830 Page 63.
