January 24, 2008
In attendance: Nancy Dooley, Pat Richardson, Ann Buchanan, Alison Demong, Gregg McBride,
Charles Markham, Joe Carty, Becky Freed
Absent: Ed Dunford
Guests: Kevin Biggins and John Volpe

Motion: Moved by Nancy Dooley, seconded by Ann Buchanan:
To accept the agenda as amended

122 Mount Blue Street
Presentation by Kevin Biggins, representing Don Forsland and other Trustees of
property regarding potential sale of property to create a “greenbelt” to allow
connectivity to other conservation land. Property is estimated at 20 acres, does not
include Cuffy’s Lane.

Next step: The CPC will discuss the value to the town of purchasing this property.

Discussion regarding how the CPC can support the work of this committee.
It was suggested that the CPC can sponsor 2 articles at Town Meeting:
Article 1 – $100,000 to be available for matching grants
Article 2 - $200,000 for design, building of trails
