One Day Liquor License
Process Length: Approximately 3 weeks
Fees: $35.00 per day
Renewal Time: License is good for the day requested only, it expires at the end time of the time requested.
NOTE: A check for the appropriate fee, made payable to the TOWN OF NORWELL, should be submitted with the completed application.
PROOF OF LIQUOR LIABILITY-Along with the Application, the Applicant must submit a Certificate of Insurance showing liquor liability coverage in the amount of at least $1,000,000 each occurrence naming the Town of Norwell as Additional Insured for General Liability and Liquor Liability and naming Town of Norwell as Certificate Holder. Also proof of Workmen’s Compensation. NO LICENSE WILL BE ISSUED WITHOUT SUCH PROOF.
The Board of Selectmen request that the Town of Norwell be listed on the policy as additional insured for General Liability and Liquor Liability, this is a condition of rental agreement. Additional insured and its employees will in no way be involved in sales, service or distribution of alcohol.
Once the application is turned in it will be presented to the Board of Selectmen for approval.
