ONLINE REGISTRATIONS START WED, MARCH 7 @ 10:00AM. Please read through ALL directions first. Then to start, click on the link in Step 1
This service is to make it easy, fast & convenient for you. It is safe & secure. Online registrations get 1st priority & accepts payment by credit card only. There is a service fee for online registrations which is charged by Activenet, the online website service which is not eligible for refund. The fee allows for the internet software usage for all department registrations.

If you are not interested in online registration, start reading the Mail-in / walk-in section below but online registrations get to register first.
GETTING STARTED ONLINE
If you already have an account, click on "My Account" & update the information. Please check that your login & password work before the rush of online opening day registrations. If you forget your login / password, we'll help you so call the Rec Office 781-659-8046 M-Th,

STEP 1: First-timers: One adult in the family requests a private online account. It’s easy, just follow these steps-by-step instructions. You are encouraged to set up your account now - even before the online register start date - opening days are extremely busy. If you have problems, call the Rec Office, M-Th 9a-2p. 781-659-8046
2. Open an existing account by clicking "My Account". Request a new online account by clicking on "Request Account"
3. Enter your account information, including your email address (so that you can receive confirmation & program updates)
4. Select a private Login Name and Password – and type a Question and Answer that you will remember (remember to make a note of this information for the future). Remember Passwords are case-sensitive, Logins are not. If you forget your login / password, we'll help you so call the Rec Office 781-659-8046 M-Th,

5. Hit the “Submit” button
Once your online account is active, you can add family members and view your account details. You are ready to go!
STEP 2: From the same website, you can register for any activity. It’s easy:
1. Select the “View Activities” button
2. Click on an activity name and hit “Add to My Cart”
3. Login with your Login ID and Password. If you forget your login / password, we'll help you so call the Rec Office 781-659-8046 M-Th, 9a-2p.
4. Select the family member(s) who will participate in the activity and answer any questions or add comments
5. Hit “Continue” twice to confirm your order (note: a small convenience fee is applied to your order, which is not refundable)
6. Click “Ok” on the security notice, complete your credit card payment (American Express, MasterCard, or Visa), and hit “Continue” (note: you can print your receipt)
That’s it, you’re registered and will receive an email confirmation!
MAIL-INS & WALK-INS START MARCH 12, 9am for all others - residents & non-residents (If space remains) Please realize that a program may be filled by online registrations.
Send / bring COMPLETED registration form (click below) & a check payable: "Town of Norwell", Recreation, P.O. Box 295, Norwell, MA 02061. Visit our office at 345 Main St. on Mon-Thurs; 9a-2p. "Drop Offs" are possible anytime by using the gray drop box on the circular drive at the front of the Town Offices.
How to watch a good program die! ALL Programs have limits & DEADLINES, so don't delay! The DEADLINES FOR SPRING ACTIVITIES VARY. THE NEW YORK TRIP, CPR & FIRST AID ALL HAVE AN EARLY DEADLINES. MOST OTHER ACTIVITIES ARE ONE (1) WEEK PRIOR TO THE START DATE, unless otherwise noted or already filled. If programs do not have the minimum numbers by deadlines, it could be
cancelled. If programs have minimum numbers but are not full, registrations will continue but please do not delay long. Great programs take advance plannning!
CANCELLATIONS, WITHDRAWALS & REFUNDS: All refund requests must be in writing (email the office at: recreation@townofnorwell.net). Full refunds (except the online service fee) will be issued if a program is full, cancelled by Norwell Rec or if you withdraw before the deadline. After deadlines, participants withdrawing before the program begins, and provided the minimum participation level has been achieved, will receive a refund minus a $10 processing fee. No other refunds will be given. Program expenses (instructors and supplies) will have already been incurred. We'll email cancellations or post on our website if possible. Refunds to credit cards are more efficienct than "town" refund checks.
Registrations are accepted on a first-paid, first served basis to Norwell residents. Sorry, no phone reservations. Credit cards are only accepted online - not in the office. Late registrations must pay full fees, no pro-rating. [Non-residents may register beginning Mar 12, space permitting.]
Confirmations? Online registrations receive confirmation, receipt by email & you may access your family schedule at "My Account" online. Please check / click on your email receipts links carefully & note all information on your calendar.
"Transaction" confirmation emails are auto generated and can include any of the following business transactions: "Enroll" means You Got In the Activity, "Wait List" means You Are Not In the Activity (it's Full but You are On a Wait List & no payment was necessary), or "Refund" means you withdrew before deadlines or the program was cancelled. If you are on a wait list, we will call when an opening becomes available. Please do not show up at the activity until you are enrolled.
Office sign-ups are confirmed if an up-to-date email address is given (& legible) Otherwise, we do not send confirmations. You are enrolled upon our receipt of your payment & form. We will notify you if a program is full, cancelled or there is a problem with your registration or a change to the activity. Please note all information on your calendar.
Norwell Recreation reserves the right to change program details as needed due to enrollment numbers, available resources, etc. You will be notified of any changes.
Financial Assistance. Consideration upon written request no later than Mar 7.
All abilities invited. If special accommodations are needed, please give us a 2-3 week notice.
Participation is at registrant's own risk. Norwell Recreation does not provide medical insurance for participants. Participants are advised to have adequate personal coverage and it is required for field trips & "extreme" sports (i.e. skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing, kayaking, etc). Printed registration / waiver forms is required for the "required" insurance coverage programs.
