DOG LICENSES are required for all dogs 6 months and older. A Rabies Certificate and proof of spaying or neutering must be presented when applying for license. All dog licenses expire December 31 of each year. Renewal of licenses for the following year can be done beginning in December.
Business Certificates
Any resident doing business in Norwell should file a "DBA" certificate with the Town Clerk's office. There is a $35.00 fee and it is good for four years.
Gasoline Storage Permits
(Renewed Annually) Per MGL 148, s. 13, it is necessary to renew annually all gasoline storage permits. The fee is $125.00.
Notary Services
Both the Town Clerk and the Assistant Town Clerk are Do not sign the document you wish to have notarized before coming to the Clerk's office. You must have a copy of your Driver's License with you.
