Re: Rescinding of Water Restrictions
Per Order of the Board of Water Commissioners, effective today September 13, 2010
There are no restrictions or limitations regarding outside water use. Water restrictions became effective July 9th, 2010 due to increased water demand and receding groundwater levels. Groundwater levels have returned to near normal levels and water demand has dropped significantly. The Board of Water commissioners wishes to thank all residents and businesses and Town departments for their cooperation during the period restrictions were in place. Compliance with restrictions is critical to ensuring available water for firefighting efforts and water for the most basic domestic uses
